Privacy
An overview of what information awpa collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.
To provide messaging, calling, status, groups, and marketplace features, awpa collects information such as your account details (like your name and phone number), the contacts you choose to connect with, and information you provide when setting up a business account or a marketplace listing.
We also collect information generated by using the app, such as message delivery timestamps, device and connection information, and marketplace transaction records (needed to hold and release escrow payments).
We share the minimum information necessary with payment processors to complete marketplace transactions, and with service providers who help us run awpa (such as hosting and infrastructure providers). We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.
Messages sent on awpa travel over a secure, encrypted connection between your device and our servers. awpa does not currently offer end-to-end encryption; we're stating that plainly here so you know exactly what protection applies today.
You can control who sees your status updates, manage your business account's public profile, and request a copy or deletion of your account information by contacting us.
We keep account and transaction information for as long as your account is active and for a limited period afterward, as needed for legal, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
awpa is not directed at children, and we ask that only people old enough to enter into an agreement with us under their local law create an account.
We may update this policy as awpa changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@awpa.app or via our contact page.
